If you have never taken Pilates before, 2 sessions of privates are recommended. You will learn the principles of Pilates and the basic fundamental exercises. It will also include a body assessment and give you time to address your individual needs and goals with Maureen.
If you have taken Pilates before, but not in our studio, 1 introductory session is recommended so you can meet Maureen, discuss your knowledge of the Pilates Method with her, and learn studio protocol.
After taking the introductory sessions above,
Maureen will assist you in deciding between two choices: Joining Equipment or Mat Classes OR Scheduling Private Sessions to continue one-on-one learning.
I remember starting at Pilates in Motion with Maureen, and feeling very insecure about this new step of wanting health and wellness in my life.
